Wesley and Marlee had passed each other in the hallways of Mays Business School over the years during college and were finally paired together on a class project in their Management 466 class spring semester of senior year. While sparks didn't initially fly, they followed along with each other's lives via social media over the years. 

After graduating on the same day from the greatest school on earth, Texas A&M, Wesley moved to Austin and Marlee moved to Houston. From there they continued to bop around the country, living on opposite coasts of each other until they met back up at a football game almost 10 years later- right where it all began at Texas A&M. 

After that they were pretty much inseparable once Marlee moved back to Houston. For about a year, they traveled together, attended more Texas A&M football games, and ended 2025 with an engagement over New Year's Eve weekend at the beach in Destin, FL. 

With both Wesley and Marlee also falling in love with travel over the years, a destination wedding was always something they wanted to share with their closest friends and family.
